WHO WE ARE
Crime Stoppers is a non-profit organization that began in South Carolina in 1979 with programs throughout the state uniting together to share, collaborate, and provide training on innovative ways to build and strengthen partnerships between communities, media, and law enforcement.
Individual Crime Stoppers programs throughout the state came together to form the South Carolina Crime Stoppers Council in 2006 to provide training focusing on crime trends, technology, and methods to collaborate with communities.
